Mudhoney visitarán España septiembre. Considerada la banda que puso los cimientos del grunge, llevarán su directo el 17 de septiembre a Barcelona (Wolf), el 18 a Benidorm (Visor Fest), el 19 en Sevilla (Monkey Day) y el 20 a Madrid (Cool).
Las entradas para Barcelona, Benidorm y Madrid se pondrán a la venta este 14 de febrero a las 10 horas. Las de Sevilla, el lunes 17 de febrero. El grupo madrileño Los Chicos será el encargado de ejercer de telonero en Barcelona, Sevilla y Madrid.
Mudhoney fueron quienes dieron el disparo de salida, quienes colocaron el primer ladrillo, quienes abrieron la espita, de esa triunfal generación rockera encabezada por ellos mismos, Nirvana, Soundgarden y Pearl Jam.
Fueron también el primer grupo que triunfó en el sello Sub Pop, la discográfica que desde Seattle impulsó y capitalizó la mayor parte de aquel movimiento, y en la que Mudhoney ha publicado casi la totalidad de su obra.
Fundados en 1980, han publicado una decena de álbumes y media docena de EPs. Su último LP de estudio es «Digital Garbage», de septiembre de 2018, y su último EP, «Morning In America», de septiembre de 2019.
